Respiratory Therapist

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. This role supports polysomnography services in a small hospital setting and includes both in-lab and home sleep studies. Candidates must be able to work a 12-hour night shift and participate in monthly inter-scorer reliability training per AASM standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• RPGST certification required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required. Will consider RRT-SDS with sleep experience.
• Oregon state license in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience in respiratory therapy or polysomnography.
• Experience with EPIC and Caldwell charting systems.
• Completion of monthly inter-scorer reliability training per AASM standard.
• High school diploma or GED minimum; completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AASM familiarity preferred.
• Experience in sleep lab operations, including home sleep study coordination and two-bed lab workflows.
• Previous work in hospital respiratory or cardiopulmonary departments preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 6p-6a.
• 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week.
• No weekend rotation. No holiday rotation.
• No on-call or call back requirements.
• Typical staffing ratio: 2:1 in the unit.
