Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Englewood, Colorado. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel A registered nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at a healthcare facility in Englewood, Colorado. The position involves working in the operating room environment with a focus on open heart surgery procedures, requiring candidates to bring their license on the first day. Ideal candidates will have current acute care hospital experience in a CVOR setting along with the necessary certifications. Job Details Location: Englewood, Colorado Shifts: Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of evening or night shifts as needed Schedule: Minimum of 40 hours per week, with additional call shifts (1-2 per week from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM) and weekend coverage (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays every 6th weekend) Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital experience as a CVOR RN; open heart surgery experience; BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications; experience with Meditech electronic medical records; Level I and trauma experience preferred. Additional Qualifications: Prior Meditech experience, cardiovascular experience, and familiarity with procedures such as AVR (Aortic Valve Replacement), MVR (Mitral Valve Replacement), CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting), Bentall procedure, and dissection. Responsibilities include managing the operating room, assisting surgeons, monitoring vital signs, and providing pre‑ and post‑operative care. Candidate must be an effective team player with a high level of accountability and self‑direction.
