Exciting Opportunity for RN in Fast-Paced Emergency Department!

Job Description:


- Position: Backfill Contract RN - Emergency Room
- Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
- Shift: 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM
- Staffing Needs: 1 RN
- Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Call Requirements: None
- Weekends: Rotating

Unit Information:


- Number of Beds:
- 48 private rooms
- 27 hallway stretchers
- 9 Fast track
- 5 behavioral health


- Staffing:
- Total Staff: 111
- Day Shift: Charge RN + 11, additional mid-shifts (09:00, 11:00, 13:00, 15:00), 2 PCTs, 1 Paramedic, 1 LVN
- Night Shift: Same as Day Shift

- Patient Ratios:
- 1:4 ED
- 1:5 Behavioral Health
- 1:3 Cardiac/Trauma

Essential Qualifications:


- Must Have Skills:
- ACLS
- BLS
- ENPC
- TNCC
- NIHSS


- Preferred Skills:
- Meditech experience
- Trauma experience
- Inpatient holding experience
- CPI certification

- Splinting
- EKGs
- Central monitoring
- Trauma assists
- Central lines
- Airway support
- Behavioral health de-escalation
- Morgan lens
- Rapid infuser
- Resuscitation
