We don't just offer homes; we provide a space where residents form deep connections and unforgettable memories, making it truly "More Than a Home".Maintenance Technician Benefits:Competitive hourly payGas AllowanceCell Phone AllowanceGenerous Paid time off & company holidaysHealth, Dental & Vision insuranceLife & Disability insurance401k with company matchMaintenance Technician Responsibilities:Complete all duties regarding make-ready/vacant unitsService appliances, as requested.Services general plumbing and basic electrical needs of the property to include replacing/fixing toilets, light switches, garbage disposals, ceiling fans, etc.Re-key locks, as requestedAssists in maintaining inventory of tools, equipment, and suppliesReplace burned-out light bulbs, broken globes, etc., in units and throughout the exterior of the property, as neededPerforms corrective maintenance and satisfies residents' needs following company procedures when performing service requestsObserves the condition of the apartment and report any unusual circumstances (Size/number of pets, unauthorized occupants, illegal activity, etc.)Observes the condition of the property in general and report any unusual circumstancesMakes regular inspection of the grounds, buildings, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and major equipment, as directedShould be familiar with the location of power, water, and gas turnoff valves, clean-out traps, fire extinguishers, and fire hydrants on the propertyEnters occupied apartments to perform necessary repairsCleans up thoroughly after performing workNotifies Maintenance Supervisor and/or Property Manager, as directed, regarding any supplies necessary to complete service requestsPerforms pool and spa maintenance, as directedFollows company procedures regarding safety and emergenciesAttends employee meetings and training seminars, as requestedWears company uniform and badge during work hoursQualifications:Possesses basic knowledge of the following: electrical systems, plumbing systems, painting, and other basic handyman processesProvides/uses own tools, including smart phone for maintenance ticketsValid driver's license and reliable transportationUtilizes good safety habits at all timesNeat, clean appearanceNeeds to be thorough, reliable, responsible, honest, organized, flexible, and be service-orientedCompatible with a wide range of peopleAbove average written and oral communications skillsEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
