In this role, you'll collaborate with researchers to develop and scale web applications that serve as simulation environments for training and evaluating advanced AI systems.This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI research while building robust, scalable web applications that directly contribute to the future of intelligent automation.What You'll DoDesign, build, and maintain web applications used to simulate real-world computer interactions.Develop and scale Python-based backend services and data pipelines.Partner closely with AI researchers to extend and improve the application simulation framework.Contribute to the infrastructure supporting next-generation AI agents.Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code while following software engineering best practices.Help optimize systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.Required Qualifications5–7 years of software engineering experience3+ years of professional experience with Python development.Strong experience building web applications with a Python backend.Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines.Solid understanding of modern web development principles and application architecture.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.Preferred QualificationsInterest or experience in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, or Computer-Use Agents.Experience working in a research or experimental development environment.Familiarity with AI infrastructure or machine learning workflows.Required SkillsPythonWeb Application DevelopmentBackend DevelopmentData PipelinesPreferred SkillsArtificial Intelligence (AI)Computer VisionComputer-Use AgentsResearch Environment ExperiencePursuant to the California Fair Chance Act, Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, and San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, qualified applicants will be considered for assignment with arrest and conviction records.
