Server Assistant/Food Runner

Job Summary City Cellars HTX is seeking energetic, reliable, and guest-focused Server Assistants to support our service team and ensure our guests receive a seamless, elevated experience. This is a physically active role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being a key part of a tight-knit team. You’ll play a crucial part in keeping service flowing smoothly by delivering food, resetting tables, and supporting both the kitchen and FOH staff. Key Responsibilities Promptly deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests with attention to accuracy, presentation, and timing. Confirm that each order meets quality and ticket specifications before it leaves the pass. Communicate clearly with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate timing and guest needs. Assist servers by retrieving condiments, utensils, beverages, or other needed items during service. Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to maintain seating flow. Help maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including floor and service stations. Communicate guest concerns, dietary needs, or feedback to the appropriate team members. Assist with light prep or food running tasks as needed to support BOH and FOH efficiency. Maintain a professional, energetic, and team-oriented demeanor at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in a similar food runner or server assistant role preferred. High energy, strong communication skills, and a guest-first attitude. Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail. Physically capable of lifting trays, standing for extended periods, and navigating the dining space efficiently. Reliable, punctual, and collaborative. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
