Requirements Must be a U.S. Citizen, at least 23 years old, and possess a valid driver's license Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Must pass a background investigation, oral, psychological, polygraph and medical examination. Must have at least two years continuous experience as a full-time sworn, certified law enforcement officer in Illinois and in good standing with current department.
