Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

for a locum opportunity in Syracuse, New York. This assignment offers

10-hour day shifts, no call, and full-time summer coverage

in a busy surgical environment with diverse case exposure and strong perioperative support.
Coverage is needed beginning

June 2026 , with July coverage and future sporadic opportunities available.
Schedule Model

• 10-hour shifts
• 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
• June and July coverage needed
• Potential for future sporadic shifts
• No call required
Practice Overview

• Coverage across multiple procedural areas
• Hospital Operating Rooms
• Endoscopy Unit
• Cardiac Lab
• Ambulatory Surgery Center
• Trauma Level II facility
• EMR: Epic
Facility Resources

• 15 Main Operating Rooms
• 4 Ambulatory Surgery Center ORs
• Dedicated perioperative support staff
Team Structure

• Supervised practice model
• Physician supervision ratio: 1:4
• Cardiac supervision ratio: 1:2
• CRNAs expected to function independently when appropriate
• Support staff includes scrub techs, RN circulators, and anesthesia techs
Patient Population

• Adult
• Geriatric
• Age 16+
Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across multiple surgical and procedural settings
• Pre-op evaluations and post-op recovery management
• Intraoperative anesthesia monitoring
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient safety standards

Qualifications

• NBCRNA certification
• Active New York license highly preferred
• NPDB Self-Query required
• Ability to work independently within supervised model
• Clean malpractice and background history
