Business Intelligence Solutions Architect

Job Description

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Lead/ Solutions Architect to join our team to help shape the business and drive high-impact analytics initiatives. This individual will partner closely with leadership, IT, business stakeholders, ERP teams, and external vendors to drive enterprise-wide data maturity.

This is a remote position with the option to be an FTE or long-term contract role. If FTE is selected, benefits such as Medical, Dental and 401k are offered.

Fun Things You Will Do:

\n

\n
• Define and own the enterprise BI and analytics architecture strategy.
\n
• Serve as the organization’s subject matter expert for enterprise analytics architecture and data strategy.
\n
• Be an active member of an EDW team focused on building best in class data solutions on a large data warehouse and analytics projects
\n
• Effectively communicate objectives, plans, status, issues and risks in a timely manner to team members, stakeholders and management.
\n
• Work with business users, analysts, developers and management to scope projects, and ensure designs are implemented and tested to specifications.
\n
• Create solutions utilizing industry-standard dimensional models and data architecture to support business users including data scientists, analysts and non-technical functional users
\n
• Communicates clearly in a timely manner in both verbal and written communication with other software & database development Engineers.
\n
• Collaborate with business analysts, subject matter experts, and other team members to determine data extraction and transformation requirements.

Technical Skills:

\n

\n
• 10+ years of working experience in Business Intelligence, Data Architecture, Analytics Engineering, or Enterprise Data Management roles.
\n
• 5+ years as a senior or lead architect.
\n
• Advanced SQL and data profiling skills.
\n
• Preferred experience working with Qlik Sense, Power BI and Snowflake.
\n
• Snowflake Expert: Deep experience with Snowflake development, including advanced SQL, data warehousing best practices, and performance tuning for large datasets.
\n
• Power BI Power-User: Mastery of DAX and Power Query. You should be comfortable managing a large-scale "Published Gallery" and ensuring a seamless user experience for executive-level dashboards.
\n
• Strong expertise in data warehousing, data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, SQL, cloud data platforms, and enterprise reporting strategies.
\n
• Good communication skills in verbal and written
\n
• Preferred Experience in big data implementation in data warehouse and/or Qlik product
\n
• Knowledge with web server integration in cloud platform (AWS) and Qlik Sense.
\n
• Experience in Qlik Sense server administration and configuration.
\n
• Experience in building APIs to leverage Qlik Sense for deployment automation, user updates and scheduling.
\n
• Preferred Experience in data warehouse implementation or being familiar with data warehouse concepts.
\n
• Experience with Jira and source control environments like Git, GitHub etc.
