Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative - Bone Health - Rapid City, SD

Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative to serve as the primary customer contact in a bone health territory covering Aberdeen, Brookings, and Watertown, South Dakota. The role involves delivering clinical product knowledge to medical professionals, managing accounts, executing sales strategy, and driving appropriate product utilization.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen products and communicate benefits to medical professionals
• Achieve territory sales targets through branded messaging, educational programs, and in-person and virtual engagement
• Develop and manage customer relationships, customize interactions based on needs, ensure product access, and resolve reimbursement issues
• Analyze sales effectiveness and territory performance; develop territory plans collaboratively with District Manager
• Demonstrate commitment to patient outcomes and sustain passion for products throughout the sales cycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4 years sales experience, or high school diploma with 6 years sales experience
• For Senior level: Bachelor's with 3 years sales/clinical healthcare experience, or Associate's with 6 years, or high school diploma with 8 years
• Sales, marketing, or clinical experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device industries preferred
• Product or hospital sales experience in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, bone health, or related specialties preferred
• Advanced relationship-building and influencing skills with focus on sales outcomes
• Adaptability with core competencies in sales planning, technical knowledge, communication, and results-driven execution

Compensation: $89,880–$121,602 base (Specialty Representative); $115,036–$155,638 base (Senior Specialty Representative)
