Electrical Estimator

Great Electrical Estimator role! Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year. Location: Phoenix. This position is hosted by Sharon Brown through Jobot. Benefits Competitive Base Salary Competitive Bonus Package Extremely Competitive Benefits Package Flexible Work Schedules Company Truck / Truck Allowance Accelerated Career Growth Responsibilities Prepare detailed electrical estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and time requirements. Review blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to create comprehensive cost estimates. Evaluate and recommend electrical systems and products based on cost‑effectiveness, reliability, and safety. Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors on job cost estimates. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, new product developments, and material and labor pricing. Conduct risk assessments and implement electrical safety standards throughout all stages of project development. Provide technical support and advice to project teams as needed. Regularly review and compare actual project costs against estimates to identify discrepancies. Attend site visits, pre‑bid meetings, and client consultations as required. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in Electrical Estimating or a similar role in the construction industry. Proficient in reading and understanding electrical blueprints and schematics. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, products, and safety standards. Excellent numerical skills and the ability to prepare accurate estimates. Familiarity with project management and estimating software. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. Professional certification in electrical estimating or a related field is an added advantage. Detail‑oriented, organized, and highly accurate.
