Maintenance Technician

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on material handling systems, conveyors, automated rollers, pneumatic sorters, and sorting equipment. This includes full PMs, critical parts replacement, and system reliability efforts. Diagnose and repair mechanical failures by changing motors, replacing belts, and servicing gearboxes, bearings, pulleys, and other power transmission components. Troubleshoot electrical and controls-related issues using schematics, manufacturer's manuals, engineering specifications, digital multimeters, and motor control circuit theory. Interpret PLC programs, connect to PLC processors for troubleshooting, and work with industrial networks such as ControlNet and DeviceNet. Create, modify, and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation to support repairs, upgrades, and equipment improvements. Utilize CMMS software to document maintenance activities, manage work orders, and track equipment history while supporting a safe and compliant work environment.

The position is located in a large distribution center that is clean, well-lit, and non-climate controlled. You will regularly walk, sit, stand, perform computer work, and lift up to 50 lbs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Steuben, WI.

The pay range for this position is $36.15 - $36.15/hr.
