This position involves a combination of Level 1 and Level 2 Helpdesk/Tech Support responsibilities. You will be handling top tickets related to password resets, permissions, printers/network devices, and hardware/software services, with a strong emphasis on customer support skills. Your daily tasks will consist of 90% ticket handling and 10% project work. The organization is committed to promoting from within, providing opportunities for growth and advancement within the IT team.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support to help end-users resolve issues in person.
• Address and resolve escalated issues from Tier 2 support, often involving more complex technical problems.
• Communicate effectively with non-technical users, demonstrating patience and active listening skills.
• Participate in training sessions and stay updated on new technologies and procedures.
• Travel to Wisconsin for the first week of training, expenses covered by the company.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in desktop support and troubleshooting.
• Experience with hardware and customer service.
• Help desk support skills, including Office 365.
• Ability to communicate with leadership confidently.

Additional Skills and Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and improve throughout the role.
• Strong customer support skills.
• "Jack of all trades" mentality for onsite support.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Active Directory, and PC support.
• Networking and technical support skills.

Work Environment

The role requires working onsite at the Olathe, KS Excellerate Facility for 5 days a week. The initial training will take place in Wisconsin, with all expenses covered. The dress code is business casual.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olathe, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
