Fabricator

WorkSource is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Fabrication Technician to join our team. This role involves assembling conveyor systems and related components, assisting with general shop operations, and ensuring all work meets established quality and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities

• Assemble conveyor systems and mechanical components according to blueprints and specifications.
• Safely and effectively use basic hand tools and power tools.
• Assist with general fabrication tasks in a shop environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
• Support team members with fabrication and assembly as needed.
• Perform MIG welding if experienced (preferred but not required).

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with hands-on experience in fabrication or assembly.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
• MIG welding experience is a strong plus.
• Ability to read and interpret simple technical drawings (preferred).
• Comfortable working in a shop environment and performing physical tasks.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.

Work Environment

• Full-time position in a production shop setting.
• Physical role requiring standing, lifting, and manual dexterity.
• Fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
