We are looking for a housekeeper to join our team! As a Benchmark housekeeper, your main role will be to maintain a community that is safe and clean for residents, associates, and visitors. You will be responsible for laundering towels, bed linens, and resident laundry, and the upkeep of resident apartments.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collects, cleans and redistributes the resident laundry.
• Washing, drying, ironing, folding, sorting, etc. of resident clothing and linens.
• Ensures that all laundry is properly sorted, washed and dried according to State and Federal regulations.
• Ensures that all laundry is maintained in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition. Also keeps laundry department clean.
• Reports any laundry equipment problems to department supervisor.
• Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience cleaning residential or commercial settings is preferred, but we will train.
• Understands the practices surrounding the proper handling of biohazardous waste.
