Security Guard Job Location: St. Joseph Hospital – A Member of Catholic Health St. Joseph Hospital, a proud member of Catholic Health, is located in Bethpage, NY and provides a safe, secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Job Responsibilities Responding promptly to emergencies and security incidents Controlling facility access and ensuring only authorized personnel enter Conducting regular patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas Assisting with fire safety inspections and staff education Providing courteous support and assistance to patients, staff, and visitors Preparing clear and timely incident reports Job Requirements High School diploma or equivalent required NYS Security Guard License OR Active Duty Law Enforcement required Valid NYS Driver’s License required BLS & AED Certification required One year of security experience preferred (hospital setting a plus) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Benefits & Compensation Competitive pay with shift differentials Flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle Supportive, team-oriented environment Opportunities to gain experience and grow within the organization Salary Range Starting from USD $31.16/hr.
