The Service Manager is responsible to assist with all Front-of-House functions of the theater including but not limited to: Guest Services, Servers, Bartenders, Runners, and Concessions. Provide excellent guest experience to our guest and employees and oversee the quality, and consistency of our service, food, and beverage.JOB DUTIESAssists the Assistant General Manager in interviewing and hiring hourly staff; provides on-the-job training, and on-boarding of new hiresAssists with assigning work tasks and activities, prepare weekly schedules through HotSchedules, and ensures all shifts are coveredFoster professional working relationships with direct reports, peers, direct supervisor, Human Resources and Head OfficeProvide direction, coaching and leadership for all employeesConducts daily pre-shift Take One meeting and delivers team sales goals and current promotionsEnsures maximization of sales by auditing sales staff and setting daily, and weekly goals via KPI boards and take onesReview sales numbers and goals on a regular basis and make operations adjustments as necessaryManages and supervises the In-Seat Dining process, auditorium sales, and guest experienceEnsures that facilities are clean, safe and in proper working order by adhering to company cleaning policyPerform daily opening, mid and closing operation dutiesAssist General Manager with various tasks, reports, scheduling and analyticsAssist as necessary with the preparation and follow through of special and private eventsPractice proactive guest management by recognizing opportunities before they occur, resolving the ones that do and leaving the guest with a positive experience portraying a positive company image at all timesCommunicate regularly with the General Manager and Human Resources regarding employee issues and complaintsPartner with the Regional Projectionist on film ingestion, maintenance, transferring, building of playlist in the LMS and resolving any system issuesAttend and participate in meetings and trainingsAssist when needed in the in-seat dining and auditorium sales management process - running F&B, handling expo roles, managing and creating teams for ISDOther duties as assignedEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Business Management, Hospitality or related field preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalent required1+ years of bar and restaurant management required2+ years of supervisory experience requiredFull service background, have restaurant knowledge, including inventory control and operationsServSafe certification preferredStanding, walking, lifting, twisting, bending, and traversing stairs on a frequent basisAvailability to work during holidays, nights, and weekendsJOB DESCRIPTIONAbility to work in a fast pace environmentSKILLSProven leadership and motivational skillsDisplays a professional appearance and is a positive role model within the restaurant and Support officeStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong decision-making skillsEqually comfortable communicating, negotiating, and working with guests, peers, direct reports, vendors or partnersHigh guest satisfaction expectations and focusResourceful problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated and results drivenStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and delegate projects and tasks simultaneouslyHolds self and others accountable to consistently maintain high performance standardsWORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
