Job Full Description

Position Summary The Ash Hauler is responsible for safely transporting ash and waste materials using roll-off trucks and containers. This role requires strong attention to safety, reliable driving skills, and the ability to operate roll-off equipment efficiently across industrial, landfill, and plant environments.

Key Responsibilities

Operate roll-off trucks to haul ash, debris, and waste materials between designated sites.
Safely load, secure, transport, and unload roll-off containers following company and DOT regulations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Navigate routes efficiently while maintaining compliance with all safety and environmental guidelines.
Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and site personnel to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
Follow all facility protocols for ash handling, dumping, and container placement.
Maintain cleanliness of truck and equipment and ensure proper functioning of hydraulic systems.
Assist with general yard or site tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Valid CDL (A or B depending on client requirements).
Proven roll-off truck experience; ash hauling experience strongly preferred.
Strong safety record and understanding of DOT regulations.
Ability to work in industrial, landfill, or plant environments.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to lift, climb, and maneuver heavy equipment as required.

Work Environment

Outdoor and industrial settings with exposure to dust, ash, and varying weather conditions.
May require overtime, early mornings, or extended shifts depending on workload.
