Senior Manager, Distribution Excellence

Working Location Massachusetts, Westborough; Minnesota, Brooklyn Park; Nationwide; Pennsylvania, Center Valley Workplace Flexibility Hybrid Job Description This role partners with global and regional function leaders to implement strategies and initiatives that improve Supply Chain Distribution service levels, quality, performance, and process efficiency. The focus is on higher supply chain satisfaction and better financial outcomes. The leader will guide projects and teams using Operational Excellence principles. Job Duties Lead a continuous‑improvement mindset to drive projects and culture within the Distribution function worldwide. Ensure consistent application of continuous‑improvement standards, language, and tools across the organization. Lead the Distribution operational excellence portfolio aligned to SCM, CMSO, and Operational Excellence priorities. Establish and drive a continuous‑improvement culture within Distribution, focusing on analytics, quality, compliance, and cost efficiency. Execute projects using Lean, TPS, Six Sigma, and other problem‑solving techniques. Build a network of excellence experts across Supply Chain and collaborate with CMSO Excellence functions and regional organizations. Develop programs to improve critical KPIs (quality, productivity, cost, efficiency) aligned with SCM and CMSO strategy. Provide leadership support to Distribution teams and mediate conflicts as needed at global and regional levels. Ensure unified Excellence standards, language, and training globally. Collaborate with Training and Development to create training materials and run global training programs. Job Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, operations, manufacturing, engineering, or related field. 10–12 years of progressive leadership experience in operational excellence or process improvement with measurable outcomes. Minimum of 3 years of direct project management experience. Ability to communicate and facilitate across matrixed organizational structures. Experience developing and implementing distribution programs, policies, and procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Lean, TPS, Six Sigma, and other continuous‑improvement tools. Collaborative influencer with strong interpersonal and analytical skills across international contexts.
