Machine Operator I - $1,500 Sign-On Bonus

Job Description Machine Operators are responsible for everyday machine operation of the Surface Mount (SMT), Coating, Wave or AOI equipment. Primarily, this is an entry-level Machine Operator position. Essential Functions and Responsibilities (Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time). Follow directions, read from and interpret written instructions Make sound judgments while operating production equipment Organize responsibilities to achieve maximum output to meet production and quality requirements Understand and follow all applicable quality system procedures and perform all assigned responsibilities outlined in the quality system Keep work areas neat and organized Follow established product handling procedures consistently Setup, run and tear down jobs on each of the production lines Operate the SMT line, Wave, coating or AOI equipment Provide general assistance to the workflow when and where needed Perform daily cleaning of machine as needed Follow the daily checklist Communicate with the Automation Technicians, Supervisor or Team Leads on quality issues Verify parts on the line Assist Automation Technicians as needed Performs other job-related duties as assigned by primary supervisor Requirements High School Diploma/GED equivalent Ability to read, speak and understand both verbal and written instructions in the English language Knowledge of SMT, Wave, AOI or coating equipment preferred but not required Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word Good verbal skills and written skills to communicate well in a diverse team environment Ability to fill out daily records and logs Ability to distinguish colors, fine circuit detail, and tones Physical Requirements Ability to stand in one area for long periods of time, with minimal breaks. Physical ability to move freely and have sufficient reflexes to perform the same tasks repeatedly using hands to complete the task at a constant rate so the assembly line will not be interrupted. Hand-eye coordination necessary to work with small electronic parts. Ability to lift up to 40lbs on a regular basis.
