Your Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain the plant quality strategy to ensure compliance with customer, industry, and regulatory requirementsLead and manage all manufacturing quality personnel, providing direction, coaching, development, and performance managementDrive a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and accountability throughout the organizationOwn and manage the plant scrap KPI, establishing targets, monitoring performance, and leading scrap reduction initiatives to improve cost, quality, and operational efficiencyLead root cause analysis and corrective action activities using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, and Ishikawa techniquesEnsure effective implementation and maintenance of Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems to monitor process capability and manufacturing performanceDevelop, maintain, and improve Quality Control Plans to ensure product and process quality requirements are consistently achievedLead the development, review, and maintenance of Process FMEAs (PFMEA) and support cross-functional risk assessment activitiesMaintain and improve quality documentation systems, procedures, work instructions, inspection records, and quality metricsAnalyze quality performance data and establish action plans to address trends, defects, customer complaints, and process variationEnsure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and applicable automotive quality management system requirementsChampion continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect reduction, process capability enhancement, and overall operational excellenceYour QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related technical field requiredMinimum of 5 years of manufacturing quality experience within an automotive or highly regulated manufacturing environmentProven track record of driving scrap reduction, cost improvement, and process quality initiativesExperience planning and leading internal, customer, and third-party auditsStrong knowledge of manufacturing inspection methods, quality systems, and process controlsProficiency in quality documentation, corrective action systems, and continuous improvement methodologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and drive effective solutionsExcellent communication, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work cross-functionally and effectively influence stakeholders at all levels of the organizationProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and quality data analysis toolsApplicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.As a global company with employees around the world, it is important to us that we treat each other with respect and value all ideas and perspectives.
