As media becomes increasingly AI-powered and addressable, competitive advantage will come from better infrastructure, stronger signals, and faster learning. This role will help Indeed modernize media globally by translating advances in platform technology, data architecture, AI optimization, and audience strategy into scalable capabilities. We are looking for a strategic, technically fluent marketing manager who understands how modern media platforms and the data infrastructure behind them work together. The ideal candidate understands first-party data, identity, APIs, clean rooms, server-side integrations, audience creation, conversion signals, measurement, and AI optimization—and can identify gaps in data and signals to improve audience activation, measurement, and performance. Working across marketing, engineering, analytics, data science, creative technology, product teams, agencies, and external partners, this role will help operationalize the future of media at Indeed. It will also translate emerging opportunities across creators, AI-enabled experiences, gaming, streaming, social, and changing consumer behavior into scalable global capabilities, connecting the technical, data, marketing, and media ecosystems needed to reach, understand, and engage audiences more effectively. Responsibilities Drive innovation across media platforms, AI-enabled marketing, creator ecosystems, streaming, gaming, social platforms, and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to improve performance and competitive advantage. Develop scalable innovation roadmaps, testing frameworks, and learning agendas across AI media, addressable audiences, creators, gaming, CTV, and emerging channels, connecting experimentation to measurable business outcomes. Partner with engineering, data science, analytics, and marketing technology teams to advance the infrastructure supporting media activation, measurement, and optimization. Improve the flow and quality of marketing data across platforms through APIs, first-party data integrations, server-side tracking, audience creation, clean rooms, tagging, conversion events, and identity resolution. Identify opportunities to improve signal quality, reduce data loss, and enhance platform connectivity to maximize AI-powered optimization and measurement accuracy. Shape Indeed’s long-term strategy for addressable audiences, identity, audience infrastructure, and marketing data architecture while evaluating AI capabilities, AI-native media opportunities, and agentic experiences. Serve as a senior strategic partner to agencies, platforms, technology vendors, and measurement partners including, WPP, Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, iSpot, Claritas, and emerging technology partner, to accelerate innovation and evolving media capabilities. Skills/Competencies Requires a minimum of 14 years of related experience; or a minimum of 12 years with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience. Deep understanding of marketing data architecture, including first-party data ecosystems, APIs, server-side tracking, clean rooms, audience onboarding, identity resolution, tagging, event architecture, and marketing technology integrations. Experience partnering with engineering, data science, analytics, and marketing technology teams to improve marketing infrastructure and platform connectivity. Advanced understanding of how marketing signals influence AI-driven optimization, attribution, audience activation, and measurement across major advertising platforms. Experience improving data quality, signal integrity, and technical integrations that enable better marketing performance. Experience building innovation roadmaps, evaluating emerging technologies, and turning experimentation into measurable business outcomes. Deep interest in AI, marketing technology, creators, and emerging platforms. Able to influence across complex global organizations, simplify technical concepts for senior audiences, and operate effectively in fast-changing, ambiguous environments.
