Call for Session Proposals: State of the Coast Conference

SOC18

SOC18 is the largest state-wide conference of its kind providing an interdisciplinary forum to exchange timely and relevant information on the dynamic conditions of Louisiana's coastal communities, environment, and economy.

SOC18 will consist of two and a half days of presentations by leading experts in concurrent sessions, keynote presentations, poster sessions, and networking opportunities.

SOC18 will engage more than 1,000 scientists, landowners/managers, federal and state agency personnel, local officials, industry and business leaders, resource users, and interested citizens in attendance at the 5th iteration of this biennial conference. You won't want to miss this conference!

Call for Session Proposals

SOC18 looks to the science and restoration community to assist with developing the conference agenda, and we invite you to propose a session related to your expertise. Conference topics of focus are provided on the Session Themes and Topics but don't feel limited to these areas. We seek to capture all emerging issues and new ideas. Session proposals are due September 11, 2017. For more information, go to the State of the Coast website.
