Shift Manager

The franchisee is responsible for all employment matters at the restaurant, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. Requirements Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience at every visit. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain strong Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards. Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, including: Planning each shift Monitoring performance during the shift Taking action to meet McDonald’s standards Monitoring safety, security, and profitability Communicating with the next Shift Manager to help prepare for a great shift Assisting departments in meeting their goals Meeting target metrics during shifts Specific responsibilities include: Food Safety Internal Communication Inventory Management Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness Managing Crew Quality Food Production Exceptional Customer Service Safety and Security Scheduling Training Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Candidates should be positive team players, flexible with schedules, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. Applicants must be 18 years or older to serve as a Shift Manager.
