New Homes Sales Consultant

A top national homebuilder is seeking a driven and customer-focused New Home Sales Consultant to join its team in Greenwood, South Carolina . In this role, you will be responsible for guiding homebuyers through every step of the home purchasing journey—from the first model home visit to closing—while delivering an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional with a passion for real estate, relationship building, and helping families find their dream home. Key Responsibilities Welcome and assist prospective homebuyers visiting the sales center and model homes. Build relationships with customers to understand their needs and recommend the best home, floor plan, and community. Guide buyers through the entire sales process, from initial inquiry through contract execution and closing. Maintain consistent communication with prospects using CRM tools, phone, email, and text. Generate new business through referrals, realtor relationships, community events, and marketing initiatives. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Prepare and complete sales contracts and related documentation accurately and timely. Partner with Mortgage, Title, Construction, and Customer Care teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. Stay current on inventory, pricing, promotions, financing options, and local market trends. Maintain professional model homes and sales offices while representing the builder's brand at the highest level. Qualifications 2+ years of high-end sales experience - any market 2+ years of sales experience; new home sales, residential real estate, or commission-based sales experience is preferred. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills. Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple buyers throughout the sales process. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work weekends and a flexible schedule based on community traffic. Preferred Experience New home sales experience with a production homebuilder. Active South Carolina Real Estate License (or willingness to obtain one if required). Experience working with Realtors and referral partners. Knowledge of the Greenwood or Upstate South Carolina housing market.
