Job Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Bemidji, Minnesota. Responsibilities Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients. Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation. Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories; evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions to director. Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines. Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for patients being treated. Respond to emergent situations that may require respiratory support. Qualifications 1 year recent acute care experience as a Respiratory Care professional. BLS and ACLS certification required. PALS and NRP may be required in some areas. NBRC certification and 2 years of experience required. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment. Physical requirements: stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty; lift approximately 20 pounds; lift up to 50 pounds at times.
