We are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our growing team. 

Position Summary:  The Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles in accordance with industry standards and company procedures. The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical experience, takes pride in quality workmanship, and values collaboration and customer satisfaction.

• Hourly pay range: based on experience, skills, and certifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of automotive technician experience
• Valid driver’s license
• State Inspection License  or eligibility and willingness to obtain one within the first 90 days of employment
• Ownership of a basic set of automotive tools or willingness to participate in a company tool purchase program
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work with hands overhead, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong customer service mindset and team-oriented attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification in one or more areas (A1–A8)
• Automotive Technician school certificate or degree
• Current Automotive State Inspector License

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of tires, wheels, and vehicles before and after service
• Safely raise and support vehicles using hydraulic jacks and automotive lifts
• Accurately document all services performed in accordance with company policies
• Complete a variety of automotive repairs and maintenance services, including brakes, suspension, tires, alignments, and scheduled maintenance
• Conduct oil changes, lubrication services, tire rotations, and valve stem replacements
• Identify proper tire inflation levels per manufacturer specifications
• Balance wheels using appropriate equipment and install counterweights as required
• Perform front-end alignments and suspension system repairs
• Safely move vehicles in and out of the shop
• Complete comprehensive vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs
• Diagnose vehicle concerns using accepted methods, including test driving and computerized diagnostic tools
• Repair, replace, or adjust components such as fuel injectors, filters, exhaust systems, steering systems, and linkages
• Collaborate closely with service writers and team members to ensure quality, transparent repairs for customers
• Perform additional duties as assigned
