Position InformationHiring Manager:Senior Associate, Team LeadDepartment:Investor CommunicationsDepartment OverviewThe Investor Communications Group supports the Firm’s capital raising efforts across various products, strengthening its relationship with investors and contributing to the overall growth of the Firm. The group is responsible for investor services and acts as the liaison between clients and senior management. The department is also responsible for investor onboarding and is the primary point of contact for investor reporting and ongoing account maintenance. The group collaborates closely with department leadership, business unit heads and the Business Development and Marketing Groups to develop and execute plans in line with business objectives.Position ResponsibilitiesThe Analyst will join the Firm's growing Investor Communications (“IC”) Department which serves as a key point of contact to the Firm’s investor base. This role requires a motivated individual with a proactive approach to working with other team members and departments, who has the ability to manage tight deadlines and also brings impeccable attention to detail.Responsibilities included, but not limited to:Executing the Data Management Team specific service level agreementsOnboarding and maintenance of investor accounts, including the collection and analysis of banking and investor contact informationContributing to process improvements and automation with respect to how data is managed in the CRM databaseSupporting bank account reconciliations (e.g., capital call and distribution payments)Contributing to critical Investor Communications projectsCorresponding with other back-office teams on day-to-day and ad-hoc activityConsistently meeting team metrics and shifting priorities as neededEnsuring timely execution on team deliverables and ad-hoc requestsMaintaining a positive culture during times of high volumesStrengthening Transfer Agent Quality Assurance (QA) programCandidate RequirementsQualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree required1-3 years of relevant experience in the financial services industryMeticulous attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and prioritization skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated ability to work well both independently and as part of a teamProficiency in ExcelAbility to build strong relationships with internal and external groupsKnowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is a strong plusEnthusiastic about working in office and creating a Gold Standard hybrid work cultureCritical Competencies for SuccessOur Gold Standards define key behaviors and competencies across 4 dimensions: Leadership, Achieving Results, Personal Effectiveness and Thinking Critically. Understands how to prepare and check reports, gather subscription-related data from investors (e.g., legal documentation) and answer investor inquiries regarding onboarding, subscriptions and reports.Tax and AML Regulatory Compliance: Complies with tax and AML laws and regulations related to due diligence, withholding and reporting. Stays informed of changes to tax law, regulations and legal cases to communicate impact to relevant internal and external stakeholders.Innovative Mindset: Leverages a detailed, agile and creative mindset to master processes and responsibilities, as well as drive value-added enhancements, continuous process improvement and proactive learning through new technology, processes and people.Compensation & BenefitsFor Illinois Only: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be $60,000 - $80,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
