Correctional Health Physician Opportunity

A large, integrated healthcare system in Houston is seeking mission-driven physicians to join its growing Correctional Health division. This is an outstanding opportunity for physicians who are passionate about caring for underserved populations in a highly collaborative, team-based environment.

Physicians will provide comprehensive care within a county correctional system, working alongside experienced nursing staff, APPs, psych techs, pharmacy, radiology, dental, laboratory, and specialty support services.

Position Highlights

• Full-time night shift schedule (No locums/1099): 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 14 shifts per month, 7 shifts per pay period.
• Work alongside a strong multidisciplinary support team
• No APP supervision responsibilities
• Low patient volumes – 2-3 patient per hour
• PSLF eligible employer with additional loan contribution
• Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and disability coverage
• Earn $360,000+ with 6 weeks of vacation time!

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
• Eligible for Texas medical licensure
