Financial Reporting SpecialistEverest Global Services, Inc. is seeking a Financial Reporting Specialist to join the Oracle Financial Systems Center of Excellence team. This role involves managing, administrating, enhancing, and training of the Oracle Finance Systems ecosystem. The candidate will act as a subject matter expert in Financial Systems, Business Processes, and project management.Role & ResponsibilitiesProvide functional and technical services to Finance and Business stakeholdersSupport various accounting, finance, and reporting system related projectsPerform requirement identification, configuration set up, user acceptance testing, and production implementationAssist business in the daily management of the ERP/EPM systemManage and oversee configuration migrations between different instances and environmentsDevelop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and training materialsProvide subject matter expertise on ERP and EPM related activitiesImplement and recommend process changes/improvements within the financial close processSOX compliance and responding to auditsSupport business needs surrounding the monthly close process, planning and forecasting, quarterly/annual financial statements and auditsProvide training and support to end users and other team membersParticipate in cross functional projectsEstablish rapport and build cooperative working relationships with relevant internal and external partiesAct as a liaison between finance, IT, and other relevant departmentsContribute to the leadership team for the development and improvement of accounting and finance technologiesSkillsRelevant experience in accounting, finance, or similar fields working in finance systemsBasic understanding of Accounting and Finance related conceptsAbility to communicate clearly with the business, IT, and foreign subsidiary teamsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDetail oriented and highly organizedDisplay ability to complete multiple tasks and a high volume of work by established deadlinesHighly enthusiastic, analytical, methodical, and disciplined in natureAbility to adapt and adjust to unexpected circumstancesAbility to multitask and proactively research remediations to questions or problems as they ariseWork Experience & Qualifications:1-3 years Functional Financial Systems experience1-3 years of experience working with Oracle Financials from a functional standpoint, preferred (Oracle Cloud Experience, preferred)Experience with some of the following Oracle ERP and or EPM modules: FAH, General Ledger, FCCS, EPBCS, EDM and PCM (Preferred)Experience with one or more Oracle reporting tools SmartView, Narrative Reporting, OTBI, BI Publisher, or Financial Reporting (Preferred)Understanding of Oracle modules configurations, and integrations pointsExperience & creativity in troubleshooting data conversions, integrations, and/or software application problemsCollege degree in one of the following: Accounting, Finance, or MISPreferred Experience:PL/SQL skillsInsurance experienceThe base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $205,000 annually. The rate of compensation offered will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
