Pay: $17.00–$19.00 per hour
Schedule: Day and Night Shifts Available
Work Setting: Private Home Care | One-on-One Care

YAH Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced HHA or CNA with hands-on Parkinson’s care experience to join our team in East Boca Raton, FL .

We are looking for a caregiver who understands the unique needs of individuals living with Parkinson’s disease and can provide patient, attentive, and personalized one-on-one care in a private home setting.

We currently have opportunities available for both day and night shifts .

As a caregiver, your responsibilities may include:

• Providing personalized care and support for a client living with Parkinson’s disease
• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Providing safe mobility assistance, including transfers, walking, repositioning, and fall prevention
• Recognizing and responding appropriately to mobility challenges associated with Parkinson’s
• Providing patient assistance during periods of stiffness, slowed movement, or difficulty with mobility
• Encouraging independence while providing appropriate hands-on assistance when needed
• Providing companionship, reassurance, and emotional support
• Preparing meals according to the client's needs and preferences
• Providing medication reminders as permitted
• Observing and reporting changes in the client's mobility, behavior, condition, or overall well-being
• Performing light housekeeping related to client care, including laundry and maintaining the client's immediate living area
• Following the client's individualized care plan and established routines
• Communicating professionally with the client, family members, and care team
• Maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe home environment

Required:

• Valid Florida CNA license OR HHA certificate
• Previous hands-on experience caring for individuals with Parkinson’s disease
• Minimum of 3 years of professional caregiving experience
• Strong understanding of safe mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Reliable transportation to East Boca Raton
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependability and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and follow an established care plan
• Patient, attentive, and comfortable assisting clients with changing mobility needs

Preferred but not required:

• Current CPR certification
• Previous one-on-one experience in a private home setting
• Experience caring for seniors with mobility limitations or neurological conditions
