Full-Time Weekday Inpatient CT Surgery Locums Job 8-Hour Shift Work No Nights or Weekends ASAP 2026 Start & Ongoing

Jackson and Coker is partnered with Ct Surgery / Transplant Team based in central Florida that needs a CT Surgery skilled/trained NP or PA to assist with coverage beginning in August 2026 & ongoing. The client wishes to secure weekday (M-F) inpatient shift coverage from 7A - 3P each day starting ASAP and would LOVE a candidate who would be interested in a year long commitment and/or consider a locums to permanent transition They are only considering candidates that are proficient with EVH & CT Surgery 1st assist.

Coverage Needed:
Seeking inpatient coverage Monday - Friday from 7A - 3P
Will have intermittent / infrequent night call & weekend call needs
Will primarily work in the OR, in the ICU + CVICU + see floor consults & procedures
Will be required to complete daily patient rounding

Details/Requirements :
- Active & unrestricted Florida license + DEA required
- Coverage ASAP - will attempt to expedite privileges (general process is 60-90 days)
- Seeking coverage every Monday-Friday, from 7A - 3P
- Rare need for night or weekend call coverage
- Will work in the OR, rotating with 4 physicians & other APP providers
- Must be proficient in EVH + 1st assist CT Surgery (CABGs)
- Can anticipate seeing between 10-15 PPD
- Epic EMR, large, reputable transplant program that's nationally ranked, profound multidisciplinary cardiac team
