Position Summary

Chance Compliance and Investigations LLC (CCNI) is seeking professional and motivated Surveillance Investigators to conduct mobile and stationary surveillance assignments in support of insurance fraud, SIU, liability, workers’ compensation, and investigative matters. Investigators are responsible for documenting claimant activity through video surveillance, detailed report writing, scene observations, and investigative research while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and legal compliance at all times.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct covert mobile and stationary surveillance assignments.
• Operate surveillance equipment including video cameras, covert recording devices, and vehicle-based surveillance systems.
• Obtain clear, court-ready video documentation of claimant activity and daily routines.
• Conduct neighborhood canvasses, scene investigations, and activity checks.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and SIU-compliant investigative reports.
• Perform database research and social media investigations when assigned.
• Conduct lawful pretext investigations when authorized.
• Maintain communication with supervisors and provide timely status updates throughout assignments.
• Upload video evidence, photographs, reports, and investigative notes within required deadlines.
• Conduct surveillance in varying weather conditions and extended shifts.
• Maintain awareness of operational safety and counter-surveillance concerns.

Qualifications

• Prior surveillance, military, law enforcement, security, investigative, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while conducting surveillance.
• Strong observational and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Comfortable working flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
• Ability to travel throughout assigned coverage areas.
• Professional demeanor and appearance required.

Preferred Skills

• SIU or insurance surveillance experience.
• Experience with covert camera systems and editing software.
• Knowledge of workers’ compensation and liability investigations.
• Familiarity with investigative databases and social media research.
• Spanish or multilingual ability preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain alert and attentive for long periods.
• Ability to operate a vehicle for extended durations.
• Ability to carry surveillance equipment and conduct foot surveillance when necessary.
