Registered Nurse - Med/Surg, Telemetry, Cardiology

Schedule

PM - 12 hr Shift: 36h Nights, 7p-7:30a E/O Weekend, E/O Holiday.

Assignment Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks; Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements

• 4+ years recent acute care experience
• Experience in stepdown is required for Night shift
• Proficiency with Meditech IVs and telemetry
• Able to independently read telemetry strips
• 1 recent successful travel contract
• Psych experience highly preferred
• Strongly prefer Epic experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in medical, surgical, cardiology, and telemetry settings
• Monitor and assess patient condition and vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on health management and care plans
• Document patient progress and care delivered in accordance with policies

Compliance / Notes

Requests for time off are limited to 5 days, with no specific schedule requests. Most Fridays will be required.
