Job Location: Eugene, OR 97408 Salary Range: $42,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage a book of business to ensure client retention, growth, and profitability. Answer calls from clients, prospects, and carriers each day in a professional and helpful manner. Respond to all client queries and requests accurately and in a timely manner. Conduct insurance consultations, assess clients’ risk exposures and insurance needs, and provide advice on tailored solutions to their business needs. Issue all policy documents at renewal and as requested by clients or insureds. Review all quotes, policies, and endorsements from carriers for accuracy and completeness. Assist clients with claim reporting and follow up on all claim information for the client. Complete all processes for renewals on all assigned accounts. Market accounts to appropriate carriers to receive quotes. Prepare information for customers, including proposals, summaries, and schedules. Prepare invoices and claim reimbursement agreements as needed. Partner with sales staff to meet and exceed customers’ service expectations. Assist with Medicare as needed. Qualifications Must have an active Life & Health Agents’ license in the state of Oregon (or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire). Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance customer service. Typing speed of no less than 45 words per minute. Proficiency with all Microsoft Suite applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook. Proficiency with general office software applications, including Adobe, Explorer, and internet-based information systems. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must work well independently as well as in a team-oriented environment. Ability to take initiative in all aspects of work.
