Accountant

Our client, a central Dallas company, is looking to bring on an accounting contractor to help with increased workloads due to rapid growth. The team is seeking an accounting professional who is eager to step into a role where they will get to assist the accounting members across several of their business lines. This is a hybrid work environment, and candidates must be comfortable working in an office at least three days a week. Responsibilities AP and Vendor Management: Including receiving and uploading invoices, tracking invoices throughout the approval process, managing payments to contractors and vendors, and invoice research Development Draws: Assist with compiling draw packages, verifying and requesting lien waivers and CO, supporting and managing schedules Reimbursable Draws: Keep spreadsheets for reimbursement up to date and assist with “Launch” draws Month End Support: Assist with journal entries and bank reconciliations Requirements Strong Excel Experience Required Experience with Full Cycle AP & Vendor Management Required Basic General Ledger Knowledge Required Experience with Yardi Strongly Preferred Experience in the Real Estate Industry Preferred This is a great opportunity to join a growing company with evolving needs and the opportunity for an extension on the project.
