Registered Nurse Operating Room

Role Overview: This position involves providing perioperative nursing support in a surgical department, ensuring patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes. Key Responsibilities Perform scrub functions by selecting and handling instruments and supplies during procedures. Conduct circulating functions, monitoring and recording patient conditions, and managing overall nursing care pre-, intra-, and post-operation. Assist surgeons with surgical tasks such as hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning. Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for surgeries. Qualifications & Skills Current Registered Nurse license from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a multi-state license. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 1 month of hire and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months. Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent professional licensure.
