Seasonal Hockey Instructor - P/T Hourly

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for a Seasonal Hockey Instructor at the Morgan Park Sports Center. The Seasonal Hockey Instructor is responsible for assisting and/or running beginner and intermediate hockey classes at Morgan Park Sports Center. Essential duties include assisting and/or leading hockey lessons and teaching basic skating or hockey skills at the discretion of the hockey coordinator, monitoring proper use of equipment, assisting in the planning and organization of the lessons, providing patrons with the proper techniques needed to succeed in the development of their hockey skills, and providing a safe and fun environment that promotes enjoying the sport for exercise and fun. Skills required include maintaining effective working relationships, flexibility, following oral and written instructions, ensuring safety measures, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, ice skating skills, and general fitness experience. Qualifications include previous hockey experience, having or being in the process of obtaining a USA hockey coaching certification, ability to teach fundamental skating and hockey skills to children ages 3-18 and adults, and availability on weekday evenings and weekends. The schedule requires flexible hours including evenings, mornings, weekends, and holidays. This role is seasonal from June 10th, 2025, to August 25th, 2025.
