A travel opportunity is available for a pharmacist to support a 75-bed hospital in Medford, WI. This role involves managing the inpatient pharmacy’s daily operations in a fast-paced environment, serving various hospital units and outpatient services.

Schedule:

• Primarily 10-hour day shifts
• Weekend shifts are 8 hours when on pharmacist rotation

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders through EPIC and ensure accuracy
• Oversee technician work and respond to pharmacist inquiries
• Prepare and dispense inpatient and outpatient intravenous medications, unit dose meds, and chemotherapy
• Support hospital departments including Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, ED, outpatient oncology, and surgical services
• Handle concurrent tasks efficiently for an inpatient census averaging 30-40 patients

Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficient in EPIC medication order verification and pharmacy workflows
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a team-oriented environment
• Familiarity with inpatient and outpatient IV preparation and chemotherapy protocols
