Construction Manager - Water/Wastewater

**Job Description:****Overview:**The Construction Manager position is responsible for overseeing infrastructure construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, managing schedule, budget, quality, and safety while coordinating with contractors, clients, and internal teams to deliver successful outcomes. **Responsibilities:*** Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality to support on-time and on-budget delivery.* Lead project administration activities such as RFIs, submittals, change management, pay applications, and closeout documentation as applicable.* Coordinate with contractors, clients, agencies, and internal disciplines to resolve issues and maintain project progress.* Maintain and review project documentation and reporting to track progress, compliance, and risks.* Promote job site safety and oversee applicable environmental compliance requirements.* Lead and mentor project staff, supporting team development and effective workload coordination.* Facilitate startup/commissioning activities, punch lists, and coordination with supporting teams (e.g., document control, survey, environmental, land acquisition) as applicable.* Support constructability reviews and value engineering efforts to improve delivery efficiency. **Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.* 6 years of progressive construction management experience.* Certified Construction Manager (CCM) strongly preferred* Demonstrated capability leading project teams and coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.* Working knowledge of project controls, documentation, and construction administration processes.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.* Reliability and dependability.* Ability to work Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with overtime as needed.
