• Salary:

  • The hourly range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00, however starting wage will depend on qualifications, skill, and experience.

Job Summary:
RCI is seeking a general laborer to be responsible for various manufacturing tasks as required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Willing to work in a fast paced work environment

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs

• Loading and unloading steel from plasma tables and laser.

• Die change overs on steel rolling equipment.

• Prepare steel for fabrication with use of hand grinders and deburring tools.

• Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor.

• Maintain a clean working environment: Pick up all tools and equipment each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.

• Material handling using fork trucks and hand carts

• Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.

Knowledge/Experience Required:

• Operation of Hi-Lo/SkyTrack

• Be able to lift more than 50 lbs

• Basic knowledge of painting practices in a manufacturing setting

• Understanding of material flow

• Ability to read blueprint and BOM

• Basic computer skills

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee in this position will regularly stand for long periods; Frequently walk; Occasionally reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. The employee will be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors.
