What the Role Entails

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech committed to delivering top-notch imaging services in a friendly atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound assessments, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly communicating all steps and procedures
• Work in close collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Skillfully operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly
• Thoroughly document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound technology and imaging best practices

Qualifications

• Able to showcase an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly regarded

Certifications Needed

• Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a recognized equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Required Skills

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging procedures and patient handling
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal capabilities
