Cashiering Team Lead

Responsibilities The Atlantic Region Central Billing Office (ARCBO) provides business office services to affiliated Universal Health Services hospitals. The Cashiering Team Lead works with the Cashiering Manager to coordinate training, process improvements, and ensure timely posting of all remittances to patient accounts. Key Responsibilities Provides initial and ongoing training to staff to ensure policies and procedures are maintained. Completes daily cashiering functions as described in the Cashiering Specialist job description. Prepares daily deposit and reconciles all cashiers for day‑end processing. Ensures daily processing of cash receipts and timely posting of all payments, adjustments, and allowances. Researches and resolves issues associated with the unapplied cash account. Corrects errors associated with end‑of‑day cashier posting identified post processing. Serves as a first line resource to resolve posting issues for Cashiering Specialists. Reviews and/or creates daily, weekly, and monthly balancing and reconciliation reports as assigned. Monitors daily productivity of each Cashiering Specialist to assure department goals and objectives are met. Other duties as assigned.
