Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments of students to identify their unique mental health needs and tailor treatment plans accordingly. \n

- Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records through our electronic health records system, promoting compliance with state and federal regulations. \n
- Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and external providers to ensure a seamless continuum of care for students. \n
- Participate in case consultations and peer review meetings, contributing to high-quality care and professional development. \n
- Provide education and resources to students and their families, fostering understanding and advocacy for mental health issues. \n
- Engage in ongoing training and development to remain current with research and best practices in the mental health field. \n
Your primary focus will be working with a diverse population of school-aged children and adolescents facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and social-emotional difficulties. By employing a student-centered approach, you will develop trusting relationships that empower students and their families in their mental health journey.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. \n
- A valid LCSW or LCSW-R license in the state of New York. \n
- At least 3 years of clinical experience in psychotherapy, particularly within school settings or working with children and adolescents. \n
- Proven proficiency in employing solution-focused therapy modalities and contributing to individual treatment plans. \n
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams. \n
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. \n

- Experience working in a school-based setting or familiarity with educational systems. \n
- Additional certifications in child and adolescent therapy, trauma-informed care, or related fields are highly regarded. \n
