Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Women's Health

SCHEDULE
Days: 1845-0715; 3-12 shifts per week, requiring weekend work at most every other weekend.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36

REQUIREMENTS
- Current Pennsylvania RN licensure.
- Meets American Heart Association standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.
- Holds the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification and renews NRP every two years.
- Meets American Heart Association standards for Healthcare Provider Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and renews ACLS every two years.
- Epic experience is required.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess patient and family health status, including developmental level and health history.
- Develop and implement a plan of care for women and neonates based on identified needs.
- Educate patients and families on self-care and newborn care.
- Support and collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the management of at-risk families.
- Promote understanding of family dynamics in health through education and support.
- Stay current with professional issues and enhance clinical skills.
