About This Role The Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg Float Pool provides direct patient care to a variety of complex patients, focusing on achieving desired outcomes through effective communication and coordination with the healthcare team. Highlights Pay: $48 - $48/hour Location: Hackensack, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patients. Develop and coordinate patient-centered plans of care. Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning technologies. Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes. Initiate interventions for changes in patient condition. Adhere to established protocols and document care accurately.
