Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team at Meadow Falls of Rocky River, a premier senior living community. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well‑being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and nutrition support. Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation, serving, and cleanup in the dining area
- Set up and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Monitor food temperatures and ensure proper food handling practices
- Assist with tray service and delivery of meals to residents
- Restock supplies and linens as needed
- Collaborate with culinary team to prepare and serve special dietary meals
- Maintain accurate records of food preparation, inventory, and waste management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 0 years of experience in food service or dietary aid preferred
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for long periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
