Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will enable you to thrive within this organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Edinburgh, IN

Pay Range: Up to $30/hour (depending on experience)

Shift: Second shift, 1pm – 9:30pm, with occasional weekend work

What's the Job?

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical (up to 480v), control systems, and pneumatic issues effectively.
• Conduct welding repairs and mechanical adjustments to machinery or structural components as needed.
• Assist with residential painting projects around the facility to uphold safety standards and aesthetic quality.
• Monitor spare parts inventory, ensuring critical spare parts are on hand and organized effectively.

What's Needed?

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong electrical knowledge including 480v and electrical controls.
• Experience with diaphragm and centrifugal pumps.
• Strong plumbing knowledge of PVC, CPVC, and steel.
• Ability to read technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings accurately.
