Office associate

Our company located in downtown Carlisle is looking for an Administrative Assistant/Office Associate to support their licensing team. The hours are 8-4:30, 1/2 hour lunch, Monday through Friday. Pay is up to $19 an hour DOE. This is a long term contract assignment. We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible after background check. Please apply directly to this position. Responsibilities

• Responsible for receiving and reviewing applications, keep records of expiring and renewing licenses.
• Opens, sorts, date stamps and delivers mail.
• Sorts, copies and/or files correspondence and documents within the department.
• Greets and assists public by taking or providing information by telephone.
• Prepares and processes required department documents, forms and reports as required.
• Updates information to the computer database.
• Operates computer, typewriter, adding machine, copier and other office equipment as needed.
• Compiles data within department for completion of reports.
• Maintains filing system for department; updates files, pulls information as needed.
• Operates basic office equipment including a typewriter, computer, phone system, fax machine, and copier.
