Associate Director, External HUB Programs

AbbVie

North Chicago, IL

Associate Director overseeing external hub vendors supporting AbbVie's patient access and affordability programs. Manages vendor performance, financial oversight, and operational excellence while partnering with internal stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into execution and drive continuous improvement across multiple partners.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee external hub vendor performance against contractual obligations, SLAs, KPIs, and compliance requirements
  • Conduct business reviews with vendors, identify gaps, and direct corrective action plans
  • Monitor vendor financial performance and operational/compliance risks with mitigation strategies
  • Partner with AbbVie Patient Services to translate strategic priorities into vendor operational direction
  • Identify cross-vendor optimization opportunities and guide implementation of process improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years vendor management, operations leadership, or patient services experience
  • Healthcare, biopharma, or patient services environment experience preferred
  • Strong financial acumen and governance discipline
  • Vendor contract and SLA management expertise
  • Data analysis and performance benchmarking capability
